The church ceremony of wedding - "wedding" got its name from two wreaths (crowns) which are held over the heads of the young during sacrament. This sacred ceremony symbolizes a fastening of conjugal ties by the God. For orthodox Christians the sacrament of wedding is organized in the capital of the island of Palma-de-Mallorca, in the former Dominican temple of Santa Catalina de Siena which was placed in the parish of Russian Orthodox Church (Parish of the Nativity of Christ).

You must have the following documents:
• Baptismal certificate
• Marriage certificate
• The declaration signed by the groom and the bride that they are baptized orthodox Christians that there are no blood relations between them and that both of the married couple hadn’t been married previously
• The completed form of church which lists all the main data of a couple
